Tyler arrived in Niseko with his girlfriend, Anna, to kick off his second ski season after an unforgettable first season in New Zealand. As an avid snowboarder, his role in ski valet has given him the perfect balance—helping guests while still being able to make the most of Niseko’s legendary powder. His friendly nature and strong work ethic have made him a valued member of the Ki Niseko team, and we can't wait to welcome him back for the 2025/26 winter season!
Obviosuly, my favourite thing is snowboarding, that’s why most of us chose to come to Niseko! However, other things I enjoy doing here include checking out new food venues, as well as having a quiet drink with my mates from work.
My role has been amazing, I am lucky enough to snowboard almost everyday! I also have the privilege of meeting people from all over the world and speaking with some really interesting people daily on the job.
Make sure you have enough money saved to travel at the end of the season for a couple of weeks, there is so much to do and see and it is 100% worth taking a couple of weeks to check out other areas in Japan when the season is over.
