HTM - Full-stack Developer ¥4.8 - 5.7m
Hokkaido Tourism Management (HTM) is the premier asset manager in Niseko, specializing in hospitality and tourism assets. Our diverse team of over 170 full-time and 600 winter multilingual staff reflects our international reach. Licensed as a Condominium Manager, Travel Company, and Hotel Operator in Japan, HTM offers comprehensive management solutions, including consulting, marketing, operations, and setup.
This full-time on-site role as a Full-Stack Developer at HTM in Niseko involves both back-end and front-end development. You will develop and maintain web applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless user experience across platforms. Join us to build scalable multi-tenant web applications and learn from a dynamic team. We provide working visa support and accommodation support in the resort.
The Role:
- Use the latest technologies to build responsive Web applications.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Support team members through code review.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Proficient in back-end development with Node.js and front-end development with React.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with responsive design and web application styling.
- Proficient with version control systems.
- Familiarity with test tools and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Understanding of database systems and SQL.
- Knowledge of web development frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with AI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Hospitality or tourism industry experience and knowledge of Japanese language and culture.
Employment Package Details
Employment Period: Ongoing full-time year-round (subject to a 3-month probationary period).
Annual Salary: ¥4,800,000 to ¥5,700,000 annually (divided by 14 and paid monthly, including two annual bonuses).
Location: Work on-site in our office in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan (remote work is not available). Enjoy the vibrant local culture and stunning natural surroundings.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour working days from Monday to Friday).
